Yes, 'THC Free' CBD oil obtained from hemp is legal in all 50 states. The FDA considers hemp-derived cannabinoids to be food-based products, so their importation and consumption is not restricted. However, it is not legal to grow hemp in most of the US states. For this reason, many companies producing CBD oil or other cannabidiol-rich supplements, source their hemp from states or countries where it is legal to grow it. Hempnetix CBD is derived from Colorado grown hemp.
Can I fail a drug test using CBD from Hempentix?
It depends on which CBD product(s) you are taking. Our CBD products labeled as THC Free will not cause you to fail a drug test for THC. However our products labeled as 'PharmaBlend' do contain small amounts of THC (<0.3%) and may cause you to fail a drug test for THC. Drug tests are geared toward identifying THC, not CBD or other cannabinoids. If one consumes CBD-rich cannabis that has a small amount of THC, the THC may register on a drug test.
What is the difference between CBD Isolate and Full-Spectrum CBD?
Products made from CBD Isolate do not benefit from the desired entourage effect because all the beneficial components of the plant are removed, leaving only the CBD. On the other hand Full-Spectrum CBD products from Hempnetix, contain CBD as well as over 200 natural terpenes and cannabinoids, just as nature intended.
Our 'Full Spectrum' CBD contains useful cannabinoids such as CBDA and CBDV.
'Full Spectrum' CBD from Hempentix also contains useful terpenes like 'Humulene'. The terpene 'bisabolol' (aka α-Bisabolol) has become a subject of research for medical benefits.
How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD?
The effects of CBD are not euphoric/high. Often times they are overlooked when first using CBD. The effects usually begin 20-30 minutes after consuming or applying CBD depending on the strength of the product.
How much CBD oil should I take?
This mainly depends on which product you are using, how you use it, and how your body adapts to it. We recommend starting with a minimal
dose, once or twice a day and see if this dosage works for you. If you’re new to using a CBD supplement, we encourage you to discuss with your healthcare professional any specific questions you may have.
Does CBD have any side-effects?
Hemp is considered to be generally safe. You should not see any side-effects of using CBD. However, you should consult your physician before
using dietary supplements like CBD.

Does CBD interact with other medications?
Yes. CBD inhibits the cytochrome P450 enzyme, which is involved in metabolizing many drugs. Compounds in grapefruit inhibit the same enzyme group, which is why physicians advice patients not to eat grapefruit shortly before or after taking a medication. By inhibiting cytochrome P450, CBD can either reduce or increase the effects of other drugs. In some situations, it may be advisable for a physician to monitor a patient’s blood levels of other medications while taking CBD.
